Can we believe it’s already mid-October? I’ve been in Dallas for the week, and we finally got a taste of fall weather with an end of week cool front. Probably not long-lived, but if we finally were to see cooler temperatures I’d wear this for a Longhorn gameday outfit.
I’ll continue to harp on my love for the cold-shoulder trend. I know a lot of y’all are ready to say bye-bye to it, but I am kind of okay with it sticking around longer. See past summer cold-shoulder looks here and here. This sweater is super comfy, comes in multiple colors and the best part is… it’s only $30!
For my Longhorn gameday outfit, I tend to stick with pieces that will be easy to wear for a full day of walking around, tailgating and cheering on my team. Unfortunately the Horns aren’t as good as I had hoped they would be this season, so it looks like I won’t be making it to Austin for a game anytime soon.
But, I’m still tuning in and of course wearing my burnt orange look on gameday around Houston. Mixing turquoise with orange is pretty much a no-brainer when it comes to a Longhorn gameday outfit. You may remember my early season ensemble (here), where I wore some statement earrings that incorporated a touch of turquoise into my look.
Be sure to check out the ladies below, besides myself, they all have too styled some gameday looks including orange for their schools! Even if you don’t need some orange for gameday, at least these are some great ideas for fall style, right? Have a great weekend!
