How was your weekend? We had a bit of a rough start as our sweet pup Lucy had to go to the emergency ER late Friday night. We love her like a child, she’s our fur-baby, so we were super worried about her when she was acting so restless. Fortunately the vet took care of her and she received a mild dose of pain medication and she started acting back to normal on Sunday.
Besides the little hiccup, we enjoyed time celebrating a birthday with Rick’s side of the family and enjoyed the second Sunday of absolutely gorgeous, California-like weather. We drove with the windows down and sunroof open and headed to a new restaurant/bar (to us), The Barking Pig and enjoyed out on the patio.
I’ve told y’all a bunch, but the gingham obsession is real. This baby blue gingham shirt is so fun for the alternating sizes of gingham. It’s on pretty big sale right now and also comes in a light pink. I’ve really been loving J.Crew‘s latest picks, especially this pink off the shoulder top and this rainbow vintage plaid button-up.
You’ve seen this skirt previously here and here. I love wearing it for a casual look with flat sandals or a little more dressed up with wedges. This baby blue gingham shirt tucked into the skirt has been a favorite pairing this spring.
This is the first time I’ve worn my Hermes belt on the blog, and I absolutely love it. My hubby gifted it to me for my birthday & Christmas last year. It’s even more special that my last name now starts with an H.
It’s definitely an investment piece, but if you’re looking to add one to your closet, be sure to checkout my YouTube review video, here.
