Happy Monday, friends! How was your weekend? It was definitely a sports-filled one around here. Between the Astros first-round playoff games, my Longhorns winning in double overtime and watching Houston’s beloved JJ Watt go down, again, with an injury, I think I’m ready to veg out on trashy reality tv for the next few days. But I digress… today I’m sharing a fun little swing babydoll dress, perfect for transitional wardrobes.
Back in August we headed to Santa Barbara, my happy place, and I snapped these photos with a local photographer. I’m excited to finally get on track and share some of my outfits, as well as the highly-asked for Santa Barbara travel guide in the next week or so! Here’s one of my favorite outfits from SB last year.
In case you couldn’t tell, a few of these photos feature one of my favorite walls – the Lucky Penny wall, featuring tons and tons of pennies. Not only does this spot make for fun #Instagramart, but the Lucky Penny itself also has some seriously awesome pizzas for lunch.
Even though I wore this swing babydoll dress back in August, the unseasonably warm fall temps here in Houston makes this easy to throw on dress a major wardrobe staple. There’s no way I’m wearing sweaters and vests just yet, it’s way too hot and humid here in #htx. But easy dresses that can double for both summer and fall wear, are the perfect wardrobe essential right now.
