Day two of NYFW was filled for me with tons of shows and presentations. I wanted to wear something comfortable but still with a little kick to it and that’s where that pattern mix came in.
My second season back for NYFW and I had to come back in black. I mean it was a seriously dreary day, raining and drizzling throughout, my first show was bright and early and there was no point of even trying to salvage the frizz in my hair. Roll with the punches people, am I right?
New York Fashion Week is a whirlwind. For me, outfit changes were a must the first day or so because it was raining. NYFW street style could be described as an art form in some respects, but it’s seriously so fun stepping out of your comfort zone and usual outfit box and get a little creative.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, my go-to dress silhouette is a shift – always has, always will be. This graphic Kate Spade dress is just so fun, and in a cut I know I’ll look good in, it was a no brainer to play a little dress up.
