Guys are hard to shop for. There I said it! In my opinion it’s either default to clothing and electronics, or try to come up with something cool and useful. That’s why I decided to stick to a shorter but unique list of gifts for that man in your life this holiday season – 10 gift ideas for the guys.
Chances are he won’t purchase that item he really wants or needs, like a new pair of boots, or he didn’t know he needed something like a portable charger, with a wall plug-in, until you gift it to him! So here are 10 gift ideas for the guys, that are sure to please this Christmas!
For the guys, for the gals, for everyone! This is one of those items we didn’t know we needed. Of course we’ve all seen the portable charger, and chances all have them, but I bet you very few of us have a portable charger that plugs into the wall, alleviating remembering that extra cord that charges the device itself. Grab this as a useful gift for him, especially those guys who travel often or find themselves outdoors playing golf or fishing. They’ll thank you later.
2. Cashmere lined suede gloves – $195
These fall under the category of an item he might need, but wouldn’t buy himself. And if he does buy himself a pair of gloves, it’ll be an inexpensive pair or ones from the hardware store, ha! Treat him to a pair of masculine gloves lined with cashmere. Definitely a gift that will be used for years to come.
3. Smart golf club grips – $150
I always try to look for cool and unique gift ideas and I definitely think these smart club grips fit the bill. For the golf lover, these make the perfect gift, as they can download the app and check out how far they’re hitting the ball or how they’re shining the club based off the data these smart grips collect.
4. Monogrammed tech folio – $99
A personalized gift that’s a bit more modern than a briefcase. For the guy that carries their iPad, a notepad or their phone, along with a pen and their business cards. They can keep everything in one place and perfect to carry along to meetings.
5. Leather flag card case – $40
An under $50 gift idea, perfect for a brother, cousin, etc. A preppy gift idea that is functional and practical.
6. Outdoor pod rocker chair $60
Added this to the 10 gift ideas for guys gift list because every time we are somewhere with these silly folding chairs, Rick always points out how cool they are and how he’d like one. So I figure, perhaps there are other men out there like my hubby who would also find a foldable rocker chair to be a cool gift!
7. Main line duffel bag – $285
I gifted this duffle bag to my dad and Rick last year. They both love it and use it all the time. It’s a pricey item, but it holds up nicely to use and it’s definitely sleek and cool.
8. Cartwright cowboy boots – $255
Another item owned by my husband. He has nothing but raves for Tecovas boots, and so do I. The idea of cutting out the middle man to lower the price, for high-quality boots, is brilliant. If you need a cool and memorable gift for a husband or dad, definitely check out these boots!
9. 3-in-1 portable game center – $50
One of those gift ideas that can work for a variety of different guys in your life. THey’re reasonable too, so it works to gift one to multiple guys at your Christmas gift exchange. Definitely an item they can use on beach and camping trips or even for a tailgate.
10. Mizzen+Main Stanton Pullover – $125
Rick loves the Mizzen+Main brand, they’re based out of Dallas and have great shirts that hold up to being washed in a regular washer machine. And I love the brand because it means a few less trips to the dry cleaner each month. You might remember seeing a commercial with Phil Mickelson, he regularly wears and endorses the brand.
