Our trip to NYC was one for the memory books. While it was extremely freezing, it was so worth it. Sunday afternoon we made our way down to 5th Ave and spent a few hours wandering Bergdorfs (so many things I am lusting after like these Tom Ford heels) and then we knocked off a bucket list item of mine by having tea at BG Restaurant, where the sun decided to peep out just as we sat down and overlooked snowy Central Park.
Snapping photos in Central Park was the icing on the cake for me, and even though it was at least negative five degrees wind chill I shed my jacket for some snapshots in my fabulous Armani blazer. Record for quickest photos ever, hence the jump in the air shot for effect. We ran our tooshes over to the Plaza Hotel to warm up and say hi to my sister from another mister Eloise (both are dad’s are in the hotel business). The night was still young so we hopped in cab down to Chelsea Piers where we took in an emerging designer show, Katty Xiomara at Nolcha Fashion Week, popped on over to the Top of the Standard High Line NYC for drinks, had one of the most delicious dinners ever at Bond St. sushi and finished the evening with a visit to Serendipity for frozen hot chocolate. All in all a rather epic way to end our trip to NYC, I can’t wait to make it back sooner rather than later!
