In case you haven’t seen on Instagram, I’m in New York City for New York Fashion Week! It’s pretty freezing, y’all. I mean, downright frigid, with lows in the negatives on Saturday!
Whether it’s traveling to New York or really anywhere, I like to look put together for a flight. I’ve had the privilege to be traveling since I was at least six-months old, and my parents always emphasized the importance of looking put together and nice when flying. I, of course, have continued that and like to dress up, and most honestly I find that I can be more warm on the actual plane.
Maybe it’s just me, but I’m always cold… especially on airplanes! I always bring or wear a long scarf that can be thrown over my legs or wrapped around my body to bode off the chill in the air. Enter this gorgeous Tuli Designs scarf. It’s long enough to wrap around myself if it’s chilly, but so versatile as well.
I have TSA Pre-Check, which is quite possibly some of the best $75 I’ve ever spent, but I digress, I know now what I can wear and not wear through the metal detector so as to prevent it from going off. A leather jacket and booties with a zipper will definitely set off the metal detector, but I can quickly slip them off and throw them in a bin to get through security as quick as possible!
