Y’all know I love a good scarf. So when I can wear scarves through spring and summer, I’m a happy camper. A lot of people ask how my tricks for accessorizing, so today I thought I’d share my tips for accessorizing with a floral scarf.
Scarf (no longer available, similar) // Top (old, similar style here) // Shorts c/o // Sandals // Earrings (on sale under $40!) // Sunglasses c/o // Handbag // H bracelet (gently used option here)
If you recall these previous outfit posts (here and here), I’ve accessorized with scarves quite a bit within my wardrobe.
If you notice in the above photos, I show you two ways to style this floral scarf. Either wrapping it around for a loose, draped fit or tying in a forward-draped knot. Both ways are chic and timeless, and truly just boil down to preference in how you like to wear a scarf.
When accessorizing with a floral scarf, just remember that the printed scarf is going to be the main statement piece. Pull out a color or two from the scarf and build your outfit around it. In this instance, I chose to pull the pink. A shade of salmon pink draped shorts (under $55!), some fun flower statement earrings and one of my favorite clutch bags – each bit of pink ties in nicely to the color of my scarf and its print.

I used to love scarves when I was younger, I’d wear one almost every day but now I only have blanket scarves. I really want to go back to wearing them because I think they’re a great alternative to necklaces for chillier days. That one is gorgeous, floral patterns are always perfect for spring.
