Purifying cream cleanser // Brightening daily moisturizer // Purifying makeup remover cleansing towelettes, all c/o Neutrogena Naturals
To be perfectly honest, I am not the biggest drugstore beauty gal. However, as the beauty market has evolved and the call for more eco-friendly and skin-friendly products has become more prevalent, I wanted to try the Neutrogena naturals line.
It’s no joke that some of my tried and true skincare products run upwards of $20 or over; which is a little crazy. So when I can stand behind products that are much more budget-friendly, I need to share it with y’all.
Did you use a Neutrogena cleanser growing up? I believe that may have been the first cleanser my mom bought me as a young teenager. So like most of us, Neutrogena has been a name that we’ve been familiar with for years in the beauty market. However, as I got older and became more understanding of the harshness some of these products can have on our skin, I turned to higher-end beauty products.
I had seen Neutrogena naturals on the shelves at my local drugstore, but to be perfectly honest, was skeptical. Neutrogena naturals is skincare that has been derived from plants, meaning they’re effective but pure at the same time. When Neutrogena reached out to me, I knew it was a great fit to give these products a try.
Need to hear more? Neutrogena naturals has NO harsh chemical sulfates, parabens, petrolatum, dyes or phthalates. Can you pronounce some of those words? I can’t! Obviously if I can’t even pronounce it, chances are I don’t have a clue what the ingredient is either. As I’ve matured and become more in-tune with the fact that my skin is my body’s biggest organism, I’m definitely a little more intense as to what I use and put on it.
Well y’all, I have to say, that I am truly a fan of Neutrogena naturals Cream Cleanser, Brightening Daily Moisturizer and the makeup remover cleansing towelettes. I’ve been using each product for about two weeks and can see and feel a noticeable difference.
I don’t know about you, but certain cleansers and moisturizers I’ve used in the past have left my skin tingling (not in a good way) or have given it a burning sensation which no doubt had adverse effects on my skin. Not one of these products did either of those things to my facial skin.
If I had to pick a favorite of the three, I’d say it’s the Brightening Daily Moisturizer. Under $15 (like, woah!), this broad spectrum SPF 25 moisturizer is lightweight and doesn’t clog my pores. It applies with a silky feeling and feels light on my skin. The skin brightening aspect is lemon peel, an effective bionutrient to help even out my skin tone.
I’m not telling you what choices to make when it comes to your skincare, but I think it’s absolutely imperative that we become self-aware of what is in our beauty products and what we put on our skin. I am not a saint, I’m 100% guilty of using cult-favorite products and re-buying products that I haven’t got a clue of what ingredients make it so awesome.
But as we continue to move forward and realize the ecosystem is a fragile place, it’s time to take a stance for natural ingredients, supporting clean water initiatives, holding off on the testing of animals and utilizing recycled or biodegradable packaging.
Neutrogena naturals has without a doubt converted me into a big fan of this line. Even better is that these skincare products are budget-friendly and easily found at everyday retailers like the drugstore or grocery store.
I encourage you to take the steps towards a healthy lifestyle. Even if that just means adopting a healthy skincare routine. Believe me when I say it, your skin will thank you!
This post is brought to you in partnership with Neutrogena naturals. All opinions are my own. Thanks for supporting the brands that help make Adored by Alex possible.

I had been looking for someone with a first-hand experience with this Neutrogena line. I will have to find out if it is gluten free before trying it. I’m glad you did and gave us your appraisal.

Hi Amanda, thanks so much for stopping by! I’m so glad you came over and found this review helpful. I just spoke with the Neutrogena team and unfortunately these products are not gluten free but were formulated without harsh chemical sulfates, parabens, petrolatum, dyes, or phthalates. Hope this helps!
