Daytime Makeup with IT Cosmetics

I’m not a huge everyday makeup wearer. My daytime makeup routine usually consists of sunscreen, a little under eye concealer, bronzer and a touch of mascara. But thanks to my friends at IT Cosmetics, one of their amazing New York-based makeup artists stopped by my hotel before a day of shows and gave me a dramatic, yet still me, daytime makeup look with IT Cosmetics.

I wanted something that would be dramatic to carry me from day to night but not over the top. I loved the way the makeup artist did my eyes. I usually am gun-shy to put on a lot of eyeshadow. I really don’t use palettes a lot, as I get overwhelmed by all the colors, but if there’s one palette you should add to your makeup routine, it’s IT Cosmetics’ Naturally Pretty Romantics palette. I love every single color!

I’ve also become obsessed with the Eyelift in a Tube, which is seriously a game changer, especially on those morning where you may be running short on sleep or just not feeling it. If you’re in the market for a new mascara, definitely try Tightline full lash mascara. This amazingness in a tube is seriously brilliant. The makeup artist taught me how to get it super close to the lash line to create combination eyeliner/mascara look to make the eyes really pop.

Probably my favorite thing of the entire makeup session are the two lip products we used – the Vitality Lip Blush Hydrating gloss stain and the Your Lips but Better waterproof lip liner stain. I carry both of these products in my purse for regular day use. The gloss stain is my favorite because it stains according to your lip color and shade; essentially it adapts to you! I love the color it creates on my lip and I know it stays and don’t have to worry or be nervous that it somehow got onto my teeth or anything!

Daytime makeup with IT Cosmetics has been a fun thing to take on as a new part of my everyday makeup routine.
