Elegant Green and Gold Christmas Tablescape
Christmastime is here! Which means a new holiday-perfect tablescape. I’m thrilled to share this stunningly elegant green and gold Christmas tablescape today with y’all. I had a particular vision in my mind for this table, and I’m in love with how it turned out!
Similar to my 2020 Thanksgiving tablescape, I pared down the place settings, from my usual six to eight, to just four for this year’s Christmas tablescape. Even with just four place settings, the table feels full and festive.
My friends at Bering’s Hardware again gave me the opportunity to create this elegant green and gold Christmas tablescape with a variety of pieces from their gift shop including Herend, Arthur Court, Annie Glass and Juliska.
Just because the year feels awfully different, doesn’t mean I’m skipping out on beautiful Christmas decor. In fact, I feel like this year merits over the top decor that’s elegant and oh so festive.
Inspiration for this year’s Christmas tablescape came from these beautiful . Once I saw those, I knew I’d be running with an elegant green and gold color palette.
Live evergreen wreathes not only pull out the shades of green, but offer unbelievable scent to the dining room. Once I purchase, I place each wreath into a bucket of water and let them soak for 10-15 minutes. I then pull them out and let them dry of any visible water before placing on my table. Make sure to spray them with a spray bottle every so often to keep them living.
The pièce de résistance to my Christmas tablescape: Herend dishes. I often say if I had all the money in the world, then I’d have buffets filled with Herend place settings. Timeless pieces that can be passed down from generation to generation.
We anchored the setting with a classic green fern charger dish by Herend and a combination of the Herend gold Fishscale and golden Elegance dinner and dessert settings.

Beautiful! I personally do not like the colors red/green together…but love the recommendation to replace one with gold…oooh la la!
