We had the most glorious taste of fall-like weather the last few days, and it was perfect. Sadly, the heat and humidity are back for the weekend, but I like to think that we aren’t far from real fall temperatures and dressing. I’ve got my favorite fall military jacket on standby, just waiting in the wings to be worn again.
This fall military jacket has been a go-to now for at least two seasons. I always tell people, if you’re looking for an under $150 jacket that you’ll wear time and time again, it’s the fall military jacket. It truly pairs with so much (last seen here and here).
The heat definitely doesn’t seem like it’s easing up anytime soon, so I’ve been opting to wear short sleeve or sleeveless tops under my fall military jacket, so I can shed it when I’m outside or running around and get too warm.
I’m a firm believer that wardrobe rules, like no white after labor day, get thrown out the window when you live in Sunbelt states. My grandmother once said, “anywhere that stays above 85 degrees through October, is immune to the white after Labor Day rule,” and I couldn’t agree more! That’s why you’ll see me wearing white jeans all year around.
Hope you’re having a great week! If you missed it, be sure to mouse on over to my fall beauty update post from earlier this week.
