Ralph Lauren sweater (love these colors) // Gap Always Skinny skimmers // London Sole flats (currently coveting this pair ) // Anthropologie sunnies // Initial Reaction monogram necklace // Boutique tassel necklace // Michele Mini Urban watch // David Yurman amethyst and pearl cuffs, bangle
In just five days my family will be moving out of my childhood home and beginning a new chapter in our lives. Being away for college, I was fortunate that the timing worked just right for me to come back for spring break and spend one last week back at my home filled with unforgettable memories.
This outfit reminded me a little of white wash finish on furniture and walls. Another pair of Gap skimmers… I usually never purchase denim with artificial rips and holes, but my love for their wash trumped the former. Cleaning and packing up my closet seemed to be the most daunting and horrible task until I began unearthing little surprises like these adorable London Sole flats I got in San Francisco a few years ago, the pop of neon was the perfect finishing touch to my outfit.

Aw, I would be so sad if my parents moved out of my childhood home, but you’re right–it’s a chance for new memories somewhere else. Love your weekend look, too!

I love Gap Skimmers! I’ve bought a few pairs already…but I’m loving that wash! And those bright flats are perfect! That’s so great you got to spend some time at home before the move – I get so nostalgic thinking about the home I grew up in. Life is full of new chapters 🙂
