I’m so excited to share my first outfit from our trip to wine country in Northern California. I knew we’d be outside quite a bit at the vineyards and for tastings, so I wanted to stay cool and chose lightweight outfits for the occasion. I did just that in this gingham dress at the vineyards.
How dreamy are these photos? They really don’t even do the landscape of Healdsburg vineyards, and the Russian River Valley landscape, justice! I’m pretty sure I told Rick multiple times that I felt like we had transported over to Europe. It was truly so picturesque and absolutely dreamy.
As I mentioned previously, Rick nor I had ever been to wine country before. So, we were beyond pleasantly surprised when the rolling hills of Healdsburg welcomed us on our first day up North.
I saw this dress at my local Anthroplogie the week before our trip and knew it would be a perfect outfit. This gingham dress at the vineyards was just darling and I received so many compliments. It is lined, but still lightweight enough for the outdoor occasion. Plus, how can anyone say no to some adorable gingham? If you’ve been here before, then you may have seen my last gingham outfit here.
This gingham dress at the vineyards also made for some seriously picturesque photos. I knew when we pulled up to Arista Winery for our afternoon tasting, that I needed to snap photos amongst the vines.
Rick and I really enjoyed the tastings we did within the Russian River Valley, the grapes and the wines are absolutely delicious. I highly recommend next time you’re picking out a Pinot or Cab, look for one that’s from the Russian River Valley – I promise you will not be disappointed!
Be sure to check back later this week, I’ll be sharing my complete Healdsburg travel guide. Looking forward to hearing what you think!
