Are you a candy corn lover or hater? Regardless, this candy definitely harkens fall for me, and totally makes me think of Halloween. I can’t believe the trick-or-treat holiday is just around the corner! For those of us who enjoy an adult beverage here and there, why not try a sweet candy corn martini perfect for sipping in between handing out candy on Halloween!
Either you love candy corn, or you hate it – this much I’ve learned from friends. So for those of us who love it, the candy corn martini makes for a delicious treat. Candy corn itself is pretty sweet, so I opted to cut some of the sweetness by adding unflavored sparkling water to the libation.
Candy Corn MartiniĀ
1 cup vodka (my personal pick is Dripping Springs, Tito’s or Grey Goose)
1/3 cup candy corn
3 oz pineapple juice
2 oz sparkling water
Option: 1 oz butterscotch schnapps
Pour 1 cup of vodka into a measuring cup and add in candy corn, and place in fridge for at least an hour. Pour desired amount of candy corn infused vodka into a martini shaker. Add ice, juice, sparkling water. For sweeter taste, add butterscotch schnapps. Shake thoroughly. Before pouring, add extra candy corn into martini glass for a festive garnish.
If you have time to prep the drink beforehand, I suggest shaking the mixture up with some candy corn pieces, sans ice. Let it chill in the fridge for an hour or so, then add some ice and shake, shake, shake for an extra cold martini.
We’ll be handing out candy for the first time in our new home, and I love chatting with the kiddos on their costumes. I know in between doorbell rings, I’ll be sipping on my candy corn martini and snacking on a homemade cheese and meat board, cheers!

I saw something like this on Facebook last night and thought it looked suuuper interesting. I don’t like candy corn, so I may just take the vodka by itself. š
