Timeless & Intimate Thanksgiving Tablescape
Hard to believe we are right around the corner from Thanksgiving. We’re traveling this year for the holiday, and heading to California to see my family. It’ll be Olivia’s first trip and I’m oh so excited, but a little nervous, too.
While I may not be cooking a turkey, I’m going to definitely make at least a homemade pie for the occasion. Just because we aren’t hosting or doing Thanksgiving from Texas this year, doesn’t mean that we can’t still gather some lovely tablescape inspiration for the holiday. So that means, still putting together a beautiful and festive Thanksgiving tablescape.
You might remember the beautiful and elegant tablescape I created last year, and I’m thrilled to partner again with one of my favorite local stores, Bering’s, for this timeless & intimate Thanksgiving tablescape.
This year I opted for a bit more of a casual table. The setting is still timeless, but it’s also an intimate Thanksgiving tablescape – instead of six place settings, we’ve only set four.
The entire inspiration for the table came from the Vietri Fauna Pheasant plates and serveware. I loved the blues and greens mixed in with traditional Thanksgiving color palettes of rust and burnt orange. We pulled upon the blues and greens to mix in a variety of fall-hued shades found throughout the tablescape.
I love to use fresh florals and greenery however I can, and lately mixing in fresh fruits for centerpieces, too. You might remember this preppy summer tablescape featuring fresh citrus. Well this timeless & intimate Thanksgiving tablescape utilized freshly sliced pomegranates to bring in pops of color at little expense.
