Mustard Yellow Tunic Top

Truth be told, until I came across this mustard yellow top, this color was at the bottom of my purchase list. I’ve always felt like with my coloring I could never pull of yellow shades, but this mustard yellow tunic top changed my mind!

Since it’s finally beginning to warm up over here in Houston, I’ve definitely got spring outfits on my mind. I pulled out my lace-up espadrille wedges (last seen here) as well as my raw hem denim skirt. After a long winter, it’s time to show off some bare legs!

As I mentioned above, I don’t think I’ve ever purchased something mustard yellow. But since the color is on-trend right now, there are a lot of pieces in the color available. I had a gift card and decided to take the plunge on this mustard yellow tunic top. I love the brand behind the tunic top, Velvet by Graham and Spencer (check out an outfit from the brand on the blog last summer) and figured while the color may not be something I immediately gravitate towards, it’s definitely fun and bold for my spring and summer wardrobe.

I was pleasantly surprised when this mustard yellow tunic top arrived. It’s comfy and airy, plus the color is perfect. You can definitely catch me wearing this top often this spring and summer and I can’t wait to wear more of my denim skirt and lace-up wedges. Totally a warm-weather uniform!
