Since it was so cold in New York, this Southern gal had to wear a lot of layers to be able to aptly frolic around the city – so with that being said, I took a lot of outfits and belted them for better shape and definition.
Neon coat: J.Crew (my color is sold out online, check your local stores!) // Sweater: Zac Posen // Turtleneck: J.Crew // Belt: Hermes (also here) // Leggings: Hue via Nordstrom // Boots: Stuart Weitzman // Hat: Free People // Clutch: Stella McCartney // Earrings: Loren Hope
This neon coat has been one of my favorite purchases as of late, I also have it from last season in cobalt blue (last seen here). I receive so many compliments every time I wear this neon coat. Not sure if it’s the neon orange color or the simple & sleek silhouette, but it’s been really fun to mix with different looks. I love the juxtaposition of it against the black – such a pop of color on a cloudy, dreary day.
NYFW was quite the experience, upon arriving and leaving shows, photographers were eager to snap photos left and right . Definitely something I am not used to, in the least. The inner E! News lover in me had so much fun posing for the multiple cameras and making new photographer friends, like Kamel Lahmadi of Style and the City.
