Our trip a few weeks ago to the Grand Cayman was just what the doctor ordered. I haven’t been so relaxed in many years; spent all day reading on the beach, dined on delicious sushi (quite possibly the best I’ve ever eaten!) and snorkeled our little hearts out right off our hotel The Beach House Marriott.

I lived in my swimsuits and cover-ups throughout our week long stay. Seven Mile Beach is as beautiful as advertised. I’ve never seen such turquoise water and lush white sand. In the afternoon my boyfriend Rick and I would usually take a walk down the beach and on the evenings where the sunset was gorgeous we walked our little hearts out. If you’ve never heard of Swell Caroline, you definitely need to check them out, seriously adorable and affordable accessories and monogramed jewelry that’s perfect for summer!I felt like this Swell Caroline clutch was perfectly fitting for our trip to the Caymans. Rain may’ve rolled in for an hour or so but it was pretty much always sunny!

I have to admit, when our plane took off, home to Houston, I cried. I can’t wait to make it back to the Caymans, a quick 2.5 hour non-stop flight from Houston, I couldn’t recommend it more! Stay tuned for more posts from our trip to come!
