One of my favorite parts of being a married is celebrating holidays together in our home. I’ve loved decorating and putting my own special touch on each and every aspect, including playing hostess. With that, Thanksgiving has quickly become one of my favorite holidays as an adult, and I not only love decorating, but have a special appreciation for the food and beverages. So, let me share more with you our Thanksgiving Tablescape with Decoy Wines!
It’s safe to say my family is full of foodies. We’ve always enjoyed holidays together; gathering around the dining room table and enjoying delicious food and wine together. Of course, growing up with this sort of background, makes it only natural to toast to the holidays with delicious wines like those from Decoy.
I’ve done a few tablescapes in the past (see my Mother’s Day tablescape here), but this Thanksgiving tablescape with Decoy Wines is truly one of my absolute favorites. Not only did it turn out beautiful with the fall oranges, greens and neutral hues, but it also features some pieces I hold near and dear.
My late-grandmother had an amazing collection of china, and I was fortunate enough to receive these vintage Royal Crown Derby Red Aves China plates to add to the Haines china collection. I have fond memories as a young girl, listening to my grandmother share stories about this china, so it means so much to be using it in my own home for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Along with the old, I added a few new pieces such as the Juliska serving pieces and glass stemware for enjoying our wine. I’ve always been a firm believer that wine is much better enjoyed in the proper glass, so making sure my Thanksgiving tablescape is properly equipped, is key.
There’s a lot of different types of foods served for Thanksgiving, whether it’s the appetizers, the sides or the Turkey, there’s something for everyone. So just as there’s food for every palette, there should also be wines for every palette. Whether you’re a red or a white lover, Decoy Wines offers tasty pairings for all. Celebrate with Decoy this Thanksgiving season, with both red and white offerings.
I admit, I love a good red, and the Decoy Red Wine Blend is every bit tasty and delicious for a dinner pairing. My family usually does our Thanksgiving meal at dinnertime, so the Decoy Red Wine holds its ground as both a rich and luscious red with a fruity depth as well as some oak notes.
For those who enjoy a lighter pairing, the Decoy Sauvignon Blanc is also quite tasty. The juicy, fruity flavors are bright, with a refreshing acidity and an undercurrent of sweet fruit for a truly refreshing finish.
Whether you’re cooking the full Turkey or simply preparing sides to bring to a family gathering, Decoy Wines has an offering for every wine aficionado.
It was important to me to create a Thanksgiving tablescape that was both inviting and memorable. With bits of vintage and new, Earthy tones and fresh greenery, I’m looking forward to Turkey Day this year! And even more excited for our wine pairings in partnership with Decoy Wines, cheers!

It’s so tasty! We went to the vineyard last time I was in Napa and it’s such a gorgeous setting, too!
