I have to say I’ve been wary of the jumpsuit, especially as a girl of my stature, but after trying on this Trina Turk number at my friend Valerie‘s event a few weeks ago, I couldn’t say no.

Generally too, I am attracted to black or white, but I mean who could say no to a) Trina and b) Trina prints or color?! Trina Turk is one of my favorite designers, she has such an eye for the cut and fit that works for a woman and is always on point with her print game. She no doubt hit it out of the park with her latest collection. I’ve gotta say I feel ultra 70s glam with a touch of modernity in this jumpsuit (how couldn’t I with some snapshots on a green shag carpet at Cheeky Vintage, see below). Plus, it will definitely be something that will make my way through my wardrobe this summer and straight into the fall. Remember how I mentioned from my Fashion Week trip that orange was all over the runways? Well kids, here’s a prime example of how I’ll be incorporating that look into my wardrobe.
