A topic we frequently chat here at Adored by Alex, investment pieces that are worth the price and will be worn for years to come. Let’s chat one of my top 10 favorite investment pieces, the White + Warren travel wrap. This large cashmere wrap is the ultimate luxury, a luxe accessory that holds a special place in my closet.
I’m much more of a classic, investment piece type gal than a jump on the trends type. Case in point, I reach for this wrap time and time again. It’s an accessory that remains timeless all these years later. Catch this post where I chat about another timeless investment piece of mine here.
I’ve actually had my for over five years, and it still looks practically new. It’s one of those accessories that I bring along on a variety of occasions – whether it’s traveling on an airplane, throwing over my shoulders at a restaurant or bundling up around my neck as a scarf. It’s such a versatile piece. Plus, it comes in a variety of colors.
Why I love my White + Warren Travel Wrap
Versatility
I love that my White & Warren travel wrap can be worn in a variety of ways. Whether it’s as a scarf, a wrap/shawl or even used as a blanket on a flight, it’s an extremely versatile accessory. In colder months, I wear it quite often as a scarf. It’s lengthy, so when wrapped its extra chunky for added warmth. My actually goes with so much. If I were to purchase another, I’d definitely go for black or navy.
Quality
This travel wrap scarf is superior quality! Like I previously mentioned, I’ve had it for over five years and it still looks like new. The breathable and lightweight cashmere is a 7 gauge knit, meaning it’ll stand up to a lot! When not using, I store it in a dust bag. I’ve opted to have it dry cleaned a handful of times, and it’s held up nicely.
Longevity
If there were ever an accessory that’ll hold up to the test of time, it’s this cashmere travel wrap. I know that as long as I take care of it, it’ll last for even more years to come. Cashmere does have a tendency to pill, but I haven’t experienced that issue with this wrap. You could certainly use this to remove any accumulated pilling. If you opt to hand wash it at home, I suggest using – it’s the best!
Yes, the White + Warren cashmere travel wrap is pricey, but it’s worth it. I reach for it all the time, and it’s definitely a purchase I’ll have for years to come! If the price tag is still a bit much, keep an eye out, as they sometimes go on sale at Shopbop, Saks or even on the website.
