We’re spending an unprecedented amount at home right now, and if you’re like me, then you’re probably looking for a good TV show or two to binge-watch in the coming days.
There are a lot of great shows out there, but honestly, unless you spend hours on end combing through each of the streaming apps, sometimes they can be hard to find. Case in point, of my top three favorite shows, Bosch, is a recommendation I always share with people. But nine times out of ten, people tell me they’ve never heard of the show. It’s totally under the radar! One thing that I’d like to point out about my list of 10 binge-worthy tv shows to watch now is that I’ve personally watched each of these shows. So read on for the quick hits on why I enjoy each show and some other notable mentions below.Â
10 Binge-Worthy TV Shows to Watch Now
1. Bosch

A top three in my personal list of favorite shows. Bosch is truly one of the most addicting shows I’ve ever watched. Follow along as this LA homicide detective uncovers some pretty intense stories and finds himself along the way. Rick and I love this show, it’s a great one to watch with a significant other. Plus, there are multiple seasons so you can binge to your heart’s content. Here’s a great article on why you should be watching the show, here. Stream on Amazon Prime.
2. Jack Ryan

An action-packed show filled with adventure, spies and likable characters. I’ll pretty much watch anything that John Krasinki acts in, he’s a favorite of mine. Another show you can watch with the men in your life. Seasons one and two available for streaming. Stream on Amazon Prime.
3. Suits

The ultimate binge-worthy show right now! Suits just recently finished out the series, after eight seasons. So if you’re on the hunt for a bingeable tv series, this is it. Harvey and Donna are some of my favorite TV characters and the office-appropriate clothing is chic, chic. Stream on Hulu, Amazon Prime or the USA app.
4. Homeland

We’ve been watching this show since the beginning. If you’re a fan of shows that take on story lines about the conflicts in the Middle East, CIA culture, etc. then this show is for you! Excellent acting, including Claire Danes character, Carrie, who makes you want to jump through the television and shake her out of some of her decisions. However, she’s an endearing character whom is likable. Stream on the Showtime app, Amazon Prime and Hulu.
5. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

If you’re looking for a laugh, then this is a great show to start. Midge is a housewife who wants more, so she sets out to become a standup comedian in a time where women don’t leave the kitchen. If I can give you one piece of advice, stick it out the first three episodes. It’s a bit slow to start, but then Maisel picks up steam and offers up some laugh out loud moments! Stream on Amazon Prime.
6. True Detective

This mini-series features a list of heavy hitter actors each season. My favorites are in order, with the first season at the top of my list. Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey were made to act together. Each season features a different, unique storyline that’ll have you hooked. Stream on the HBO app.
7. Sharp Objects

Okay, this was a crazy one! A mini-series that kept you on your toes up until the final moment of the finale. Amy Adams is a newspaper reporter and an alcoholic who has some serious problems that stem back from childhood. She travels home to her small town to cover a series of murders that have gone unsolved. Truly creepy, but one of those shows you can’t stop watching and continue to talk about even after you’re done. Stream on the HBO app.
8. Big Little Lies

So I’ll admit, I didn’t like this show at first. It was a little too intense for my taste. However we took a break and came back to it a couple months later and it quickly became one of my favorite shows. The ensemble cast is excellent, the story is intriguing and the soundtrack is so good. Plus, the addition of Meryl Streep to the second season is everything I could’ve asked for and more. Stream on the HBO app.
9. Billions

Billionaire hedge fund manager Bobby Axelrod is one of those live on the edge types. His actions catch the attention of the US Attorney and so begins a high-stakes game of chicken. This show is packed with drama, and is a perfect one to watch with the guys in your life. Stream on the Showtime app.
10. Schitt’s Creek

So I just started watching this series. If you’re a fan of extremely dry humor, then this show is for you! I will say it takes some time to ramp up. I first started watching a year ago and just couldn’t get into the story line. But I recently started watching again and it’s really quite a gem. The episodes are only 21 minutes long so it’s super easy to binge this one! Stream on Netflix.
