Happy Friday, friends. We made it through another week! As we near the end of summer, it’s time to start transitioning (whether I like it or not) into some of my initial fall pieces and adding more denim into the mix. Enter the perfect denim trousers for casual Fridays or date night.

Today I’ve partnered with The Limited to highlight their latest denim collection. I absolutely love these high-waisted denim trouser jeans not only for the fit (they would be flattering on so many body types), but also for the ease of wear. Some denim can be so scratchy and rough until you’ve worn it in, but not this pair. Soft, supple denim that already feels relaxed on just the first and second wear.

When I used to work in Corporate America, casual Friday was my favorite. Of course I loved dressing up during the work week, but not only did casual Friday actually signify Friday, but it was an opportunity to wear some outfits that incorporated denim, cute tops and maybe some cognac suede pumps or block heels.

It’s not to say that even though I work for myself now, I’m not wearing a casual Friday look like this! When I’ve got breakfast meetings or lunches, this is the exact look I love to wear. The denim trousers just dress up any look without looking like I’m wearing slacks or straight up jeans.
