Our dog Lucy is family, so when it comes to celebrating the holidays, she’s right there alongside us! Whether it’s including her in our holiday family photo or making sure she has her own Christmas sweater, Lucy gets to experience the holiday merriment right alongside us.

1. Include your pup in the family holiday card

2. Stock up a stocking for your furry friend
Just as Rick and I have our own stockings, so does Lucy! A tradition my grandmother started many years ago, our pets always receive a stocking filled with toys and treats, too. This year I’m filling Lucy’s stocking with Tyson True Chews. Just like I strive to keep things as natural as possible when it comes to purchasing food for Rick and I, the same goes for Lucy. That’s why Tyson True Chews have been our go-to dog treats for over a year.

Your dog is so cute! I have several cats. I shelter elderly rescue cats.

Aw! Our Dixie pup is 100% part of our family too and we always try to include her in our photoshoots as well. My husbands immediate family all still lives in Houston too so when we get together for the holidays we bring our dogs too. It makes for 4 excited dogs to have a play date equaling pure chaos! Thankfully we all have big yards to let them out to play before coming back inside to continue the festivities.

We always include our little dachshund in all festivities. Treats, sweaters and play toys are on his Christmas list.

Your dog is so cute! Our old dog was named Lucy. We have a Frenchie named Louis and he’s the best. I was as excited to shop for him for Christmas as I was for my daughters, ha! He was in our Christmas card as well.

Lucy Love! She is the cutest. I’ll have grab some of the treats for Tucker to try!
Tip on how to get your cats involved in the holidays – just put up any decorations. They’ll think they were set there just for them to enjoy knocking over and playing with.
