How to Wear Floral Prints in the Fall

I’m forever a print fan. Whether it’s stripes or florals, gimme it all, all year around! Florals for spring… groundbreaking. But what about florals for fall? Sharing my take on the look, how to wear floral prints for fall!

We generally think of floral prints as the bright variety filled with pinks, yellows and spring tones, right? But there are also moody florals comprised of reds, violets and oranges that can take on more of a fall personality.

I saw this top on my travels in Orange County last month and knew I had to have it for fall. I love the sheer sleeves and the off the shoulder silhouette. This top is a perfect indication of how to wear floral prints for fall – some sort of sleeve, dark base and moody floral colorings.

I chose to pair the top with dark denim, but it could also easily be tucked into a skirt or worn with a pair of cigarette pants and black heels. I’m definitely excited to style this more throughout the season.
