It’s no secret I’m a sucker for preppy or fun prints and details, and this preppy pom pom trim sweater is no exception!

I love sharing brands or labels that you might not have heard of before, case in point the makers of this sweater, Duffield Lane. You might remember I shared a few pieces of theirs previously, including a camouflage printed jacket. I love that Duffield Lane’s pieces are super wearable for a variety of occasions.
Besides the fun trim, this preppy pom pom trim sweater is great because it’s made of a terry cloth fabric. It’s easy to care for and super soft to wear, it’s a win win! With the terry cloth fabric, it could definitely be worn at the beach or over a swimsuit on vacation. It’ll also be cute this summer paired with white denim and a pair of Palm Beach sandals (like this pair featured here).
I didn’t intend on putting together a patriotic look, but I loved the pairing of classic red accessories with the outfit. Usually I’m only reaching for neutral colors, but as of late I find myself reaching more and more for red. It’s a great color, and honestly in my wardrobe it sometimes serves as a neutral. I love these red flats and wear them so much more than I ever thought I would. They’re old, but available in plenty of other colors, and worth the splurge!
