I love accessorizing with classic silk scarves and this vintage Hermes scarf is no exception! I love picking up designer pieces second-hand or on the consignment market. It’s a great way to get expensive pieces at a better price, meaning you can  add to a collection without the bigger expense. This otherwise simple outfit, a white blouse and denim, gets kicked up a notch with a pop of color in the silk scarf. Styling a vintage Hermes scarf is as easy as tossing it around your neck for an additional accessory. I also love tying my scarves around my handbags or if it’s smaller, in my hair (see an example in this post along with this post in which I discuss how to wear a hair bow as an adult).Â
Depending on the size of the scarf, you can knot it in a variety of ways around your neck. Here’s a useful guide that has three different ways to tie a scarf that I think are great for beginners.
