Hey y’all! Happy 2020! After a much needed break, I’m back to kickoff the new decade here on Adored by Alex! It’s only fitting the first outfit of the year is a fancy look featuring my new favorite piece and the only bodysuit you need in your closet.

Just because the holidays are over, doesn’t mean you don’t have an excuse to get dressed up! While I love a great dress, I find myself reaching for more mix and match type separates lately. This printed midi skirt is a great color, I love the emerald green hues, and super budget-friendly.
But what I really want to talk about today is this bodysuit. It’s the only bodysuit you need in your closet and life! I really hadn’t jumped onto the bodysuit train, although ultra popular with the influencer/bachelor contestant set, I just never found one that I felt flattered my body type. Let me just preface this by saying I thought all bodysuits were clingy and tight, but I was wrong!
This particular bodysuit is tight in all the right places and does a great job of accentuating those curves we all want to show off. But if you notice, it also has a little volume and pleating to make it romantic and wearable from day to night. The v-neck makes it sexy, but it’s not too low where you might be messing with it the entire time you wear or need to tack it down. I wore it as is!
You see the bodysuit paired above with a skirt, but it’d also look great with a pair of higher-waisted jeans and heels, too. Trust me, you won’t regret snagging this bodysuit for yourself.
